令和5年度入学者選抜の日程を教えてください。

2023 School Year

• February 10 (Friday) and 13 (Monday)：Submission of Application Form for Admission
• February 15 (Wednesday) and 16 (Thursday)：Change of Application Period
• February 22 (Wednesday)：Academic Achievement Exam (Gakuryoku kensa）
• February 24 (Friday)：Interview (some schools) / Practical Skills Exam (fine arts courses, etc.)(Jitsugi kensa)
• March 3 (Friday)：Announcement of accepted candidates for enrollment

2 Application Qualifications (出願資格)

Q2-1: What are the qualifications for admission?

出願資格について教えてください。

 A2-1：

To apply for a Saitama public high school, you need to have already graduated from a junior high school or be planning to graduate from a junior high school in March 2023. In addition, you need to meet one of the following conditions.

• (1) If you want to apply for a full-time school, you generally need to live in Saitama with your parent(s) or guardian(s).
• (2) If you want to apply for a part-time school, you generally need to live or work in Saitama.
• (3) If you want to apply for a correspondence school, you generally need to live or work in Saitama.

埼玉県の公立高等学校に出願できるのは令和5年3月に中学校等を卒業する見込みの方もしくはすでに卒業した方で、次のいずれかに該当する方です。

• (1)全日制の課程の場合は、原則として保護者とともに県内に居住している方
• (2)定時制の課程の場合は、県内に住所又は勤務地を有する方
• (3)通信制の課程の場合は、県内に住所又は勤務地（在学地）を有する方

Q2-2：I have already graduated from high school. I would like to re-enter a general education course of study. Is this possible?
すでに高等学校を卒業しています。改めて普通科に入学したいと思いますが、可能ですか。 

A2-2：

Those who have already graduated from a general education course of study cannot apply to enter a general education course of study again. Moreover, those who have graduated from a course of study other than general education may not apply to either a general education course of study or the course of study from which they have already graduated.

普通科を卒業した方にあっては普通科に、普通科以外の学科を卒業した方は普通科及び当該卒業に係る学科に、それぞれ出願することはできません。出願資格の詳細については、県立学校人事課（048(830)6735)にお問い合わせください。

Q2-3：I quit high school some years ago for personal reasons. I would like to study at high school again. Can I apply?
事情があって数年前に高等学校を中退しました。改めて高等学校に入学できますか。 

A2-3：

The answer will differ for 1) applicants with class credits from high school and 2) those without.

• 1) Applicants with high school class credits
  It may be possible to take a test for Transfer Credit Entry - please consult with your school of preference. Alternatively, you can submit an application for the entrant selection process, the same as 2).
• 2) Applicants with no class credits
  You cannot take a test for Transfer Credit Entry. In this case, you can apply for the entrant selection process if you fulfill the criteria in 2-1.

高等学校での修得単位が、(1)ある場合と(2)ない場合に分けて説明します。

• (1)高等学校での修得単位がある場合 
  編入学試験を受験できる可能性があります。志望する高等学校に相談してください。改めて入学者選抜に出願することもできます。この場合は、(2)と同様です。
• (2)高等学校での修得単位がない場合 
  編入学試験は受験できませんが、Q2-1に該当する場合、入学者選抜には出願することができます。出願資格の詳細については、県立学校人事課（048(830)6735)にお問い合わせください。

Q2-4：Who has to submit a Request for Approval to Apply (Shutsugan shōnin shinsei)?
「出願承認申請」という手続はどういう場合に必要ですか。 

A2-4：

Persons applying from junior high schools outside Saitama must submit a Request for Approval to Apply.

Persons with a current address inside Saitama and who will graduate from a junior high school in Saitama do not need to submit a Request for Approval to Apply.

Persons who will graduate from a private junior high school in Saitama do not need to submit a Request for Approval to Apply, but please attach a copy of your certificate of residence (jūminhyō) (issued within the past three months and showing the information for both the applicant and parent/guardian without your Individual Number listed) to your school entrance application when applying.

For information regarding how to obtain a Request for Approval to Reply, please see Q3-2. For further details, please contact the Prefectural School Management and Personnel Division at 048(830)6735.

県外の中学校の卒業者（見込みも含む。）が出願する方などは、「出願承認申請」が必要です。

現住所が埼玉県内にあり、かつ出身中学校が埼玉県内にある場合は「出願承認申請」は必要ありません。ただし、出身中学校が埼玉県内の私立の方は、「出願承認申請」は必要ありませんが、出願の際、入学願書に住民票の写し（全日制の場合は保護者と志願者について記載されたもので、申請日から3カ月以内に発行され、個人番号の記載がないもの。）を添付してください。

Q2-5：If I apply to a Saitama public high school, is it still possible for me to apply to a public high school in another prefecture if the exam date is different?

埼玉県の公立高等学校に出願する場合、受検日が異なれば、他の都道府県の公立高等学校との併願はできますか。

A2-5:

It isn't possible to apply for a Saitama public high school and a public high school in another prefecture at the same time (including other non-standard methods of application such as early selection examinations, recommended selection examinations, etc.). For further details, please contact the Prefectural School Management and Personnel Division at 048(830)6735.

埼玉県の公立高等学校に出願する場合、他の都道府県の公立高等学校との併願（いわゆる「前期選抜（入試）」や「推薦選抜（入試）」など、一般選抜以外との併願を含む。）はできません。

3 Application Forms and the Application Process（出願書類・出願の手続）

Q3-1：What documents are necessary to apply?
出願の際に必要な書類は何ですか。 

A3-1：

The School Entrance Application Form (form 5, Nyūgaku gansho), Examination Admission ID Card (form 5-2, Juken-hyō), and school report (Chōsa-sho) prepared by your junior high school's principal are necessary. If you are applying to a prefectural senior high school, please attach a Saitama Prefecture Proof of Payment Stamp (Saitama-ken shūnyū shōshi) for the necessary amount (2,200 yen for full-time courses of study, or 950 yen for part-time courses of study) in the space indicated on the school entrance application before submitting it.

Additionally, you will need to pay the application fee via bank transfer when you apply for a Saitama City or Kawagoe City municipal high school, and submit proof of payment complete with a receipt stamp attached to the back of the school entrance application form. When making your application fee payment, for information on how to obtain the necessary payment forms (Nōnyū-sho) please inquire with the respective municipal board of education or high school.

When applying for a Kawaguchi City municipal high school, fees for full-time courses are generally paid electronically. For part-time courses of study, you will need to pay the application fee via bank transfer and submit proof of payment complete with a receipt stamp attached to the back of the school entrance application form. For further information, please inquire with the Kawaguchi City municipal board of education or high school.

(Tables of graduating class aggregate grades and academic transcripts of all students are sent directly to the school being applied for by your junior high school.)

For applicants outside Saitama and special selection process applicants, other documents are also necessary. For details please see the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline.

入学願書（様式5）、受検票（様式5-2）、及び中学校長が作成した調査書が必要です。県立高校に出願する場合は、入学願書の所定の位置に必要額（全日制2,200円、定時制950円）の埼玉県収入証紙を貼って提出してください。

さいたま市立及び川越市立の高等学校に出願する場合は、金融機関に振込で納入し、受領済印が押印された所定用紙を「入学願書」の裏面に貼付し提出してください。納入の際、必要となる所定用紙（納入書等）の入手方法は各市立高等学校、さいたま市、川越市の各教育委員会にお問い合わせください。

川口市立の高等学校に出願する場合は、全日制課程は原則電子収納による納付になります。また、定時制課程は、金融機関に振込で納入し、受領済印が押印された所定用紙を「入学願書」の裏面に貼付し提出してください。詳細は川口市立高等学校にお問い合わせください。

（学習の記録等学年内評価分布表及び学習の記録等一覧表は中学校から志願先高等学校に直接提出されます。）

県外中学校等から出願する方、特別選抜などを希望する方はこれ以外にも必要な書類があります。詳しくは「入学者選抜実施要項・選抜要領」をご覧ください。

Q3-2：How can I get the necessary forms to apply for admissions?

出願の際に必要な書類はどのように手に入るのですか。 

A3-2：

The necessary amount of application forms, calculated according to the number of 3^rd year junior high school students at all public junior high schools within the prefecture, will be sent out to schools sometime after mid-November. So, if you are a junior high school student, please contact your school.

If you are NOT a junior high school student, the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline and Selection Standards for Each School are posted on the High School Education Management Division website, from which they can be downloaded and printed.

The High School Education Management Division (048(830)6766) will send out copies of the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline, the School Entrance Application Form (after mid-November) , and if necessary, the Request for Approval to Apply Form upon request.

If you would like to request a copy of these forms via mail, please enclose (1) and (2) and submit your request addressed to (3).

• (1)A self-addressed postal envelope (large enough for an A4-size booklet) bearing your name, return address and 390 yen postage stamp.
• (2)A note listing the requested documents. 
• (3)Submit request to: 〒330-9301 Saitama Prefectural Government, Education Bureau, High School Education Management Division, School Entrant Selection Group (the full address for the Prefectural Office is not necessary) 

県内の公立中学校には、入学願書等、中学3年生在籍数相当分を11月中頃以降送付することから、県内の公立中学校を卒業見込の方は、中学校の先生に御相談ください。
それ以外の方は、高校教育指導課のホームページに「入学者選抜実施要項・選抜要領」及び「各高等学校の選抜基準」を掲載しています。様式等はここからダウンロードの上、ご自分で白いコピー用紙などに印刷して使用することができます。
高校教育指導課にご請求いただければ、
「入学者選抜実施要項・選抜要領」
「入学願書(11月中頃以降から送付できます。)」
（必要に応じて)「出願承認申請書類」
などの書類をお送りします。
ご希望の方は、以下の(1)と(2)を同封し、(3)宛てに請求してください。（「各高等学校の選抜基準」についてはホームページをご利用ください。）

(1)返信先の住所・氏名を記入し、送料390円分の切手を貼った返信用封筒（A4判の冊子が入るもの）

Q3-3: Can I have my junior high school fill out the blank school report form I downloaded from the High School Education Management Division website and submit it for my application?

中学校が調査書を作成する場合、ホームページに掲載されている様式を印刷して使うことができますか。

A3-3:

You can print and use the forms from the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline on the High School Education Management Division website.

様式を、高校教育指導課のホームページにある「入学者選抜実施要項・選抜要領」からダウンロードの上、白いコピー用紙などに印刷して使用することができます。

Q3-4：I am thinking of applying during general admissions. Do I need a photo to apply?
一般募集に出願しようと考えています。出願の際に写真が必要ですか。 

A3-4：

For general admissions, a photo is not required. While there is a space on the Examination Admission ID Card for a photo, this is only for applicants for the special admissions process for part-time courses of study.

一般募集では、写真は必要ありません。「定時制の課程における特別募集」の志願者のみ、受検票に写真を貼付します。

Q3-5：Can I submit the School Entrance Application Form by post?
入学願書は郵送で提出できますか。 

A3-5：

For entrance exams during the 2023 academic year, in the interest of preventing the spread of New Coronavirus, applications for prefectural public senior high schools will, as a rule, be collected and submitted in bulk by junior high schools.

令和5年度入試において、新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染防止の観点から、県公立高校における出願は、原則、中学校がまとめて郵送による出願とします。

Q3-6：I made an error on my School Entrance Application Form. Do I have to start over with a new form?

入学願書を書き損じてしまいました。新しいものに書き直さなければなりませんか。  

A3-6：

Please cross through the mistake on your application with two horizontal lines. Alternatively, a new school entrance application form can be downloaded and printed out from the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline on the High School Education Management Division website.

間違えて記入してしまったところを二重線で訂正してください。また、新しいものに書き直したい場合は、高校教育指導課のホームページにある「入学者選抜実施要項・選抜要領」から入学願書の様式をダウンロードの上、白いコピー用紙などに印刷して使用することができます。

Q3-7: Which parent's name should I write on the forms? My father is away from home due to work.
父親が単身赴任中です。出願書類の保護者欄は父母のどちらの名前を書けばよいですか。

A3-7:

There are no specific rules regarding this. You can write the name of either parent depending on your conditions at home, etc.

特に定めはありません。家庭の状況等に応じて父又は母のいずれかの名前を書いてください。

Q3-8：Is it possible to select a second course of study preference on the School Entrance Application Form?
入学願書に第2志望の学科を記入することができますか。

A3-8：

There are some high schools where it is possible to select a second course of study preference on the School Entrance Application Form. When applying for a second course of study preference at a high school accepting such applications, please draw a circle in the box next to ”あり”. Then, write the course of study name, etc. in the space marked "第2志望に関する申告欄" (Declaration of Second Course of Study Preference) on the school entrance application form. If you do not wish to enter a second course of study preference, please draw a circle in the box next to "なし". When applying for a second course of study preference at a high school accepting such applications, please refer to the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline Tables 4 and 5.

第2志望の学科等を認めている高等学校で、他の学科を第2志望とする場合は、入学願書の「第2志望に関する申告欄」の「あり」に○をつけ、学科名等を記入してください。志望しないときは、その欄の「なし」に○をつけてください。 第2志望の学科等を認めている高等学校は「入学者選抜実施要項・選抜要領」の別表4、別表5をご覧ください。

Q3-9：If I list a preferred second course of study on the school entrance application form, do I have any chance of entering a course of study that I haven't listed as a preference if I am unable to be accepted to either course of study?
入学願書に第2志望の学科を記入した場合、第1志望でも第2志望でもない学科に合格することはありますか。

A3-9：

You will not become an approved candidate for enrollment into a course of study that you have not selected as a preference.

志望しなかった学科の入学許可候補者になることはありません。

Q3-10: What should I do with the school report I got from my junior high school?
中学校から交付された調査書はどのように扱えばいいですか。

A3-10：

For the 2023 entrant selection process, applicants themselves submit their own school report issued by their junior high school principal. The school report must be submitted at the time of application together with the School Entrance Application Form (form 5, Nyūgaku gansho) and Examination Admission ID Card (form 5-2, Juken-hyō) to the high school being applied for. For entrance exams during the 2023 academic year, applications for prefectural public senior high schools will, as a rule, be collected and submitted in bulk by junior high schools, so please direct inquiries regarding applications to your junior high school.

志願者本人が中学校長から交付された調査書を、出願時に入学願書・受検票とともに志願先高等学校に同時に提出します。令和5年度入試では、原則中学校が取りまとめて郵送で出願しますので、出願の書類の扱いについては中学校にご確認ください。

Q3-11：Ten years have passed since I graduated from junior high school. I am thinking of taking the entrance exam at a public high school, but I was told that my junior high school couldn't issue my school report. What should I do?

中学校を卒業して10年たちました。これから公立高等学校を受検しようと思いますが、中学校から調査書を交付することができないと言われました。どうすればいいですか。

A3-11：

For applicants who graduated from junior high school five or more years ago, please submit your junior high school Graduation Certificate instead.

中学校卒業後5年を経過した方は、調査書の代わりに中学校の卒業証明書を提出してください。

Q3-12: Where do I submit the "Tables of Graduating Class Aggregate Grades" and the "Table of Students' Academic Transcripts" listed on the Entrance Guidelines?
実施要項にある「学習の記録等学年内評価分布表」と「学習の記録等一覧表」は、どこに提出するのですか。

Your junior high school prepares the above documents, so please send one copy to the school you are applying for directly, and one copy to the High School Education Management Division.

中学校が作成し、志願先の高等学校に1通、高校教育指導課に1通提出してください。

Q3-13: Can junior high schools ask students to submit the "Tables of Graduating Class Aggregate Grades" and the "Tables of Students' Academic Transcripts"?

「学習の記録等学年内評価分布表」と「学習の記録等一覧表」については、中学校が志願者に預けて志願先高等学校に提出するよう指示してもよいですか。

A3-13:

No. To prevent loss and other accidents, the above documents must be sent directly by the junior high school. If you go to a junior high school OUTSIDE Saitama Prefecture (including schools overseas, but excluding schools in special agreement areas, e.g. in some areas of Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Chiba), you do not have to submit these forms. 

紛失等の事故を防ぐのため、中学校から直接志願先高等学校に提出してください。なお、隣接県の隣接学区からの出願を除く県外中学校（海外を含む。）からの受検の場合、「学習の記録等学年内評価分布表」及び「学習の記録等一覧表」の提出は不要です。

Q3-14: I have already graduated from junior high school and my junior high school is unable to produce the "Tables of Graduating Class Aggregate Grades" and the "Tables of Students' Academic Transcripts" forms. Do I have to submit them?

すでに中学校を卒業しています。この場合、出願に際して「学習の記録等学年内評価分布表」と「学習の記録一覧表」を中学校に作成してもらうことが困難です。提出は必要ですか。

A3-14:

No. You do not have to submit them if you have already graduated from junior high school.

すでに中学校を卒業している場合は、提出の必要はありません。

Q3-15：My school report is to be turned in along with the school entrance application at the time of application, but if I change the school I'm applying for, is it possible to have it returned to me?

調査書は入学願書と一緒に出願時に提出することになっていますが、志願先変更の際には、調査書は返却してもらえますか。

A3-15:

Submitted school reports cannot be returned. In the event that you decide to apply to a different school instead, obtain a new school report from your junior high school's principal and submit it along with your school entrance application and Examination Admission ID Card to the new high school.

提出された調査書はお返ししません。志願先変更をする場合は、中学校長から改めて調査書の交付を受けて、変更後の高等学校に入学願書・受検票と併せて提出してください。

Q3-16：I lost my Examination Admission ID Card. How can I have it reissued?

受検票をなくしてしまいました。再交付するにはどのようにしたらいいですか。

A3-16:

The high school you're applying for will issue you a new Examination Admission ID Card. Please have your junior high school contact the high school you're applying for.

志願先高等学校にて再交付します。出身中学校を通じて志願先高等学校にご相談ください。

Q3-17：I applied for a public high school, but was accepted to a private high school and have decided to withdraw my application. How should I go about cancelling my application? Is it possible to have my application documents returned to me?

公立高校に出願しましたが、私立高等学校に合格したので公立高校の志願を取消すことにしました。志願取消の手続はどのようにしたらよいですか。また、提出した書類は返してもらえますか。  

A3-17：

If you would like to cancel your application to a public high school, please contact your junior high school immediately and submit a Cancellation of Application Form (Shigan torikeshi todoke (Form 10)) via your school's principal. Especially in the event that there are only a few days left until the announcement of accepted candidates for enrollment at the public high school, we ask that you submit the form as soon as possible. With the exception of specially designated items, we cannot return submitted documents.

公立高校の志願を取り消す場合、ただちに中学校に連絡し、中学校長を経由して「志願取消届（様式10）」を速やかに志願先高等学校長へ提出してください。特に、公立高等学校の入学許可候補者発表までの日数が少ない場合は、至急お願いします。なお、特に定めのあるものを除き、提出された書類はお返しできません。

f you are an applicant from a public junior high school in Saitama Prefecture, please consult with the teachers at your junior high school. These stamps can be purchased at the convenience store on the basement floor of the Prefectural Government Office, prefectural institutions such as the Prefectural Tax Office, the town/city hall of each municipality (except Saitama City), and the main branch of Saitama Resona Bank in Saitama, etc.

Q4-3：When applying to a municipal high school, how is the application fee to be paid?

市立高等学校に出願する場合、入学選考手数料はどのように支払うのですか。

A4-3：

You will need to pay the application fee via bank transfer when you apply for a Saitama City or Kawagoe City municipal high school, and submit proof of payment complete with a receipt stamp attached to the back of the school entrance application form. When making your application fee payment, for information on how to obtain the necessary payment forms (Nōnyū-sho) please inquire with the respective municipal board of education or high school.

Additionally, when applying to a Kawaguchi City municipal high school, fees for full-time courses are generally paid electronically. For part-time courses of study, you will need to pay the application fee via bank transfer and submit proof of payment complete with a receipt stamp attached to the back of the school entrance application form. For further information, please inquire with the Kawaguchi City municipal board of education or high school.

さいたま市立及び川越市立の高等学校に出願する場合は、金融機関に振込で納入し、受領済印が押印された所定用紙を「入学願書」の裏面に貼付し提出してください。納入の際、必要となる所定用紙（納入書等）の入手方法は各市立高等学校、さいたま市、川越市の各教育委員会にお問い合わせください。

埼玉県には通学区域（学区）がないと聞きました。隣接県の隣接学区から出願しようと思うのですが、どの高等学校でも受検できるのですか。

The municipal regions from which it is possible to apply for admission to Saitama prefectural schools have been established based on the Agreement with Neighboring Prefectures entered into between the Saitama Board of Education and the boards of education of the applicable neighboring prefectures. In the following cases it is possible to apply for a full time course of study after the Request for Approval to Apply is approved. The applicant must live with a parent or guardian in all of the following cases.

• (1) When the applicant's family will move to an address within Saitama by March 31, 2023.
• (2) When the applicant currently resides in Saitama but is attending a junior high school outside Saitama.
• (3) When the applicant graduated from a junior high school outside Saitama in a previous school year but currently resides within Saitama.
• (4) When the applicant has some other valid, approved reason.

The Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline and the Selection Standards for Each School are posted on the High School Education Management Division website, from which they can be downloaded and printed.

The High School Education Management Division (048(830)6766) will send out copies of the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline, the school entrance application form (after mid-November), and if necessary, the Request for Approval to Apply Form upon request.

The School Entrance Application Form will be given to the applicant by the high school they're applying for after their Request for Approval to Apply is approved. The application form is the same as the school entrance application form for prefectural high schools. You may also request these forms from the High School Education Management Division. Q6-5：Is it necessary to submit a Request for Approval to Apply when applying from a private junior high school?
私立の中学校から出願する場合、「出願承認申請」という手続は必要ですか。

A6-5：

All persons applying from junior high schools outside Saitama must submit a Request for Approval to Apply. Persons with a current address inside Saitama and who have graduated from a junior high school in Saitama do not need to submit a Request for Approval to Apply Form. However, while those who graduated from a private junior high school in Saitama do not need to submit a Request for Approval to Apply Form, please attach a copy of your Certificate of Residence to your school entrance application when applying.
The following persons must submit a Request for Approval to Apply Form.

• (1)  Persons with a current address outside Saitama, but who plan to move to Saitama by March 31 of the year when the entrance exam is to be taken (in this case even persons who have graduated from a junior high school in Saitama must submit a Request for Approval to Apply).
• (2)  Persons who graduated from a junior high school outside Saitama, whether public or private. (In this case even those with a current address in Saitama must submit a Request for Approval to Apply).
  Please look at Q6-3 for details about obtaining the necessary documents.

現住所が埼玉県内にあっても、埼玉県外にある国公私立中学校等から出願する方などは、「出願承認申請」が必要です。現住所が埼玉県内にあり、かつ出身中学校が埼玉県内にある場合は「出願承認申請」は必要ありません。ただし、現住所が埼玉県内であり、出身中学校が埼玉県内の私立の方は、「出願承認申請」は必要ありませんが、出願の際、入学願書に住民票の写し（保護者と志願者について記載されたもので、申請日から3カ月以内に発行され、個人番号の記載がないもの。）を添付してください。
次の方は「出願承認申請」が必要です。

When choosing which school to apply for, you need to consider many elements cumulatively such as your career, the features of the school, the distance from your home and so on. Be sure to discuss this thoroughly with your junior high school teacher.

Furthermore, high schools hold information sessions for prospective students, so please take the chance to learn more about the schools you're interested in.

The list of school information sessions is posted on the Saitama Prefectural General Education Center's website under Entrance Examination Information.

志願先高等学校を決める際には、将来の進路希望やそれぞれの高等学校の特色、また、通学距離や通学時間なども含め、総合的に考えることが大切です。中学校の先生などと十分に相談してください。

7 Applying from Overseas Japanese Schools, etc.（海外の日本人学校等からの出願）

Q7-1：I go to an overseas Japanese school. What do I need to do to apply?
海外の日本人学校からの出願です。どのような手続が必要ですか。

Q7-1：

Certification of your qualifications to apply is needed when you apply from an overseas Japanese school.

Applications for qualification certification will be accepted from Thursday, December 1st, 2022 until Friday, February 10th, 2023 at noon.

(However, applications will not be accepted on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and from Thursday, December 29th, 2022 until Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.)

Applications will be accepted during this period from 9 AM to noon and from 1 PM to 4:30 PM. If possible, please obtain your qualification certification by Thursday, February 9, 2023.

For inquiries regarding qualification certification, please contact the Prefectural School Management and Personnel Division at 048(830)6735.

If you want to apply to a full-time course of study at a prefectural public high school, the process will be as follows:

1. Ask the Prefectural School Management and Personnel Division for certification of your qualifications.

2. A certification form will be issued to you by the Prefectural School Management and Personnel Division.

3. Obtain the School Entrance Application Form. You can download and print the form from the High School Education Management Division Website.

4. Submit the application form and other documents to the school to which you want to apply.

If you want to apply to a part-time or correspondence prefectural public high school, the process will be as follows:

1. Ask for certification of your qualifications from the school to which you want to apply.

2. Certification will be issued to you from the school to which you want to apply.

3. Obtain the School Entrance Application Form. You can download and print the form from the High School Education Management Division Website.

4. Submit the application form and other documents to the school to which you want to apply.

If you want to apply to a municipal public high school, the process will be as follows:

海外の日本人学校からの出願には、出願の前に、「出願資格の認定」が必要になります。

出願資格認定の申請を行う期間及び受付時間は次のとおりです。

令和4年12月1日（木曜日）から令和5年2月10日（金曜日）正午まで

（ただし、土曜日、日曜日、祝日、令和4年12月29日（木曜日）から令和5年1月3日（火曜日）までの間は除く。）

受付時間は、午前9時から正午まで及び午後1時から午後4時30分まで。（なお、可能な限り令和5年2月9日（木曜日）までに出願資格の認定を受けてください。）

出願資格認定については、県立学校人事課（048(830)6735）にお問い合わせください。

出願資格認定の申請を含む出願に関する手続の流れは、次のとおりです。

県立高校全日制課程に出願する場合

If you apply to a part-time or correspondence prefectural high school, the certification will be issued at the school you are applying for.  If you apply to a municipal public school, the certification will be issued at the board of education which manages the school you are applying to.

県立高等学校全日制課程に出願する場合は埼玉県庁第2庁舎4階にある県立学校人事課で、県立高等学校定時制・通信制課程に出願する場合は志願先高等学校で、市立高等学校に出願する場合は、当該各市教育委員会において手続を行ってください。

It will take about 30 minutes to confirm the required documents and issue verification. However, if some of these necessary documents are lacking, it will take more time for verification. If you want to request these forms by postal service, Please enclose (1) and (2) and submit your request addressed to (3).

8 Change of Application (change of selection process/school/course of study being applied for)（志願先変更）

Q8-1: How can I change my application (change of selection process/school/course of study being applied for)？
志願先変更はどのように行うのですか。

A8-1:

Those who want to change their applications have to submit a Request of Change of Application (Shigan-saki henkō negai) and their Examination Admission ID Card to the principal of the high school they applied for via their junior high school. After receiving the Proof of Change of Application (Shigan-saki henkō shōmei-sho) from the high school initially applied for, students can then apply to a different school. The application procedure must be completed from the beginning. Changes to applications via post are not accepted.

Application fees are as follows:

• You are not required to repay your application fee if you are applying for the same course of study (full-time study to full-time study or part-time study to part-time study) at a different prefectural high school in Saitama.
• If you are changing your course of study from part-time to full-time study, please attach a Saitama Prefecture Proof of Payment Stamp (Saitama-ken shūnyū shōshi) for the deficit amount of the application fee and submit it without canceling the original stamp. For details please see Q8-5.
• If you are changing the school you are applying to from a prefectural high school to a municipal high school, or vice-versa, please make the necessary payment in accordance with the designated application procedures. For details please see Q8-7.

志願先変更を希望する方は、出身中学校長を経て「志願先変更願（様式8）」及び受検票を先に志願した高等学校長に提出し、「志願先変更証明書（様式9）」の交付を受けた後、新たに出願手続をとってください。なお、郵送による志願先変更はできません。

また、入学選考手数料については、以下のとおりです。

• 同一課程（全日制から全日制の課程、定時制から定時制の課程）において県立高等学校から他の県立高等学校に志願先を変更する場合は、改めて納入する必要はありません。

Q8-2：What are the documents needed to make a change of application (change of selection process/school/course of study being applied for)?

(1) Items to be submitted to the high school initially applied for:

Examination Admission ID Card issued by the principal of the high school initially applied for, Request of Change of Application (Shigan-saki henkō negai) (verification by junior high school principal needed).

(2) Items to be submitted to the high school newly applied for:

School Entrance Application Form (form 5, Nyūgaku gansho), Examination Admission ID Card (form 5-2), school report (Chōsa-sho) prepared by your junior high school's principal, and Proof of Change of Application (Shigan-saki henkō shōmei-sho) issued to you by the high school initially applied for. 

School entrance applications and other forms can be downloaded and printed out from the Guidelines for the Entrant Selection Process/Selection Process Outline on the High School Education Management Division website.

Q8-3：Can I get my documents back from the school I initially applied for? I need to submit them with my new application form to a different school.
調査書は入学願書と一緒に出願時に提出することになっていますが、志願先変更の際には、返却してもらえますか。

No. You have to be issued another school report prepared by your junior high school's principal and submit this to the new school along with the School Entrance Application Form (form 5, Nyūgaku gansho) and your Examination Admission ID Card (form 5-2).

提出された調査書はお返しできません。志願先変更をする場合は、中学校長から改めて調査書の交付を受けて、変更後の高等学校に入学願書・受検票と併せて提出してください。

県立の定時制の高等学校に入学願書を提出しましたが、県立の全日制の高等学校に志願先を変更したいと思います。可能ですか。

A8-5：

If you have the application qualifications necessary for the full-time course of study, this is possible.

However, when changing the course of study being applied for from a part-time course of study to a full-time course of study, please attach a Saitama Prefecture Proof of Payment Stamp (Saitama-ken shūnyū shōshi) for the deficit amount of the application fee (1,250 yen for the 2022 school year) to the School Entrance Application Form. When changing the course of study being applied for from a full-time course of study to a part-time course of study, there is no need to attach a new stamp, but the difference in application fees will not be refunded.

全日制の課程への出願資格を満たしていれば、可能です。

ただし、定時制の課程から全日制の課程へ志願先変更をする場合は、不足分の入学選考手数料の額（令和4年度入学者選抜では1,250円）の埼玉県収入証紙を入学願書に貼って提出してください。全日制から定時制への志願先変更の場合、新たに収入証紙を貼る必要はありませんが、入学選考手数料の差額分はお返ししません。

No. A change of application can be made only once within the change of application period. Changes of course of study being applied for within the same high school and changes of second choice are treated the same way as a change of application and are only accepted once within the change of application period.

志願先変更は1回限りです。同じ高等学校の学科間の変更や第2志望の学科だけを変更する場合も、志願先変更期間内に1回に限り変更することができます。

Q8-7：I want to make a change of application from a prefectural high school to a municipal high school. Can I use a Saitama Prefecture Proof of Payment Stamp?
県立高校から市立高校へ志願先を変更したいのですが、県の収入証紙はそのまま使えますか。

No, you cannot.

When making a change of application from a prefectural high school to a municipal high school, please pay the application fee to the municipal high school being applied for via bank transfer. (Payments to Saitama City & Kawagoe City can also be made in cash.)

When making a change of application from a municipal high school to a prefectural high school, please attach a Saitama Prefecture Proof of Payment Stamp for the necessary amount (2,200 yen for full-time, 950 yen for part-time schools for the 2023 school year entrant selection) on the School Entrance Application Form before submitting it.

Furthermore, please understand that once application fees have been received they will not be refunded.

Q8-8: I have been issued a Proof of Change of Application (Shigan-saki henkō shōmei-sho).  However, I changed my mind and want to apply again to the school which I originally applied for.  Is this possible?

志願先変更をしようと思って、志願先変更期間の1日目に志願先変更証明書の交付を受けました。しかし、考え直し志願先変更をせず元の志願先高等学校に戻りたいと思っています。可能でしょうか。

No. After you receive the Proof of Change of Application, you cannot cancel your change of application.  Please continue the entrance procedures at the new high school.

先に志願していた高等学校に志願先変更願を提出し、志願先変更証明書を交付された時点で、志願先変更を取り消すことはできません。予定していた変更先高等学校で手続を行ってください。

 9 The Academic Achievement Exam (Gakuryoku kensa）（学力検査）

Q9-1：What is the maximum score on the Academic Achievement Exam for general admissions?
一般募集の学力検査は何点満点ですか。

The base maximum score is 500 points, 100 for each subject (Japanese, Social Studies, Math, Science and English). Some schools conduct weighted scoring.

各教科100点、5教科（国語、社会、数学、理科、英語）で500点満点です。なお、傾斜配点を実施する学校もあります。

Q9-2: What kind of questions are on the Academic Achievement Exam?
学力検査では、どのような問題が出題されるのですか。

A9-2：

The Academic Achievement Exam is made based on the Course of Study for junior high schools. Along with questions testing applicants' fundamental knowledge and abilities, the exam also features questions testing applicants' thinking, judgement, and expressive abilities. To ensure that the exam can accurately reflect applicants' abilities, special attention is paid to the number and content of exam questions and questions requiring written answers as well. As such, questions asking applicants to explain their thought process or the reasons for their conclusions are also included.

Furthermore, the "Basic Guidelines for Problems in the Academic Achievement Exam for the 2023 Saitama Prefectural High School Entrant Selection Process" and "Tested Content & Subjects in the Academic Achievement Exam for the Saitama Prefectural High School Entrant Selection Process" are posted online on the Saitama Prefectural Education Center's website, so please refer to these documents for further detail.

学力検査問題は、中学校学習指導要領に基づいて出題します。基礎的な知識及び技能をみる問題とともに、知識・技能を活用して課題を解決するために必要な思考力、判断力、表現力等の能力をみる問題の出題にも配慮します。また、受検者の学力を十分に把握できるように、出題の内容、出題数に配慮するとともに、記述による解答を求めるよう配慮します。したがって、受検者が「どのように考えたか」、「そのように考えた理由は何か」などを記述する問題も出題します。

School Selection Problems are offered according to the school's judgement. The 22 high schools using School Selection Problems for the 2023 school year are as follows. All of the schools listed offer these problems for both English and Math.

Q9-9：I was unable to take the Academic Achievement Exam due to illness. Can I re-take the examination at a different date?

病気で学力検査を受検することができませんでした。改めて別の日に再試験を実施してもらえますか。

A9-9:

In the event that you were absent from the Academic Achievement Exam as well as  Interview/Practical Skills Exam due to situations outside of your control such as coming down with the flu, etc., you can take the Make-up Exam on Monday, March 6th, 2023. However, the Make-up Exam is not mandatory. If it seems unlikely that you will recover in time and you were unable to take the Academic Achievement Exam, the entrant selection process will be conducted at each school to ensure that such applicants are not disadvantaged.

インフルエンザ罹患をはじめとするやむを得ない事情により、学力検査及び実技検査・面接をすべて欠席した志願者は令和5年3月6日（月曜日）に追検査を受検することができます。ただ、追検査は受検しなければいけないものではありません。体調等の回復が見込めなく、検査を受検せず欠席した場合は、不利にならないように配慮して各高等学校で選抜を行います。

Q9-10：Tell me more about the Make-up Exam.

In the event that you were unable to take the Academic Achievement Exam or the Interview/ Practical Skills Exam due to situations outside of your control such as coming down with the flu, etc., you can take the Make-up Exam on Monday, March 6th, 2023. Please note that if you take any of these examinations, you will be unable to take the Make-up Exam. The term "Situations outside of your control" refers to cases in which the applicant's junior high school principal deems the applicant eligible for the Make-up Exam, such as cases when the applicant cannot take the Academic Achievement Exam due to the flu or other infectious illnesses. Please consult your junior high school teacher for details regarding this procedure.

インフルエンザ罹患をはじめとするやむを得ない事情により、学力検査及び実技検査・面接をすべて欠席した志願者は令和5年3月6日（月曜日）に追検査を受検することができます。「やむを得ない事情」とは、志願者がインフルエンザ等の罹患やその他感染症などにより学力検査を受検できなかった事情を踏まえ、中学校長が追検査に該当すると判断した場合を指します。手続は、中学校の先生に相談してください。

Q9-12：What are the contents of the Make-up Exam?

追検査の内容はどのようなものですか。

The Make-up Exam is the same format as the main exam and features 5 subjects (Japanese, Math, Social Studies, Science & English) with 100 points total for each, with all of these subjects tested on the same day. However, there are no interviews or practical skill examinations in the Make-up Exam.

However, in the case of truant students, returnee students, students taking the special foreigner selection process, and students taking the special selection process for part-time high schools, interviews will be conducted for the Make-up Exam as well.

本検査と同様に、各100点満点の5教科（国語・数学・社会・理科・英語）の検査を、同日程で行います。ただし、追検査においては、実技検査・面接検査は行いません。

※不登校の生徒などを対象とした選抜、帰国生徒特別選抜、外国人特別選抜、定時制の課程における特別募集においては、追検査でも面接を行います。

10Materials/Data Considered in the Selection Process (Treatment of School Reports, etc.)（選抜の資料（調査書の扱いなど）、方法）

Q10-1：How will schools decide candidates for enrollment for the 2022 school year?

令和5年度入試では、各高等学校はどのように合格者を決定するのですか。

A10-1：

For the 2023 school year entrant selection process, schools will select successful entrants based on the total number of points earned from the applicants' Academic Achievement Exam, the school report score (as decided by each school), and Practical Skills Exam and/or interview scores.

In the process of consideration, each school decides the ratio of the results of the Academic Achievement Exam and the school report score (the ratio at which scores for each of these will be weighted) within the range of 4:6 to 6:4 at the first stage and within the range of 3:7 to 7:3 for the second stage. This means that the school can change the importance of each criteria for selection in terms of school policy for the entrant selection process.

Each school's standards for the 2023 school year entrant selection process can be found at the following page: "Selection Standards for Each School for the 2023 School Year."

令和5年度入学者選抜では、「学力検査の得点」に、各高等学校で定める配点による「調査書の得点」及び「実技検査等の得点」（実施する場合）を加えた合計得点で選抜します。その際、各高等学校では、「学力検査」と「調査書」の配点の比が、第1次選抜では4対6から6対4の範囲の値に、第2次選抜では3対7から7対3の範囲の値になるようにします。したがって、各高等学校の考えによって、資料の扱いに重みを付けることができるようになっています。

各高等学校は「令和5年度入学者選抜における各高等学校の選抜基準」において選抜に用いる各資料の扱いを定めています。

The results of the Academic Achievement Exam, the school report score, and Practical Skills Exam and/or interview scores are all considered. Additionally, when the Request Regarding Measures Necessitating Special Consideration of Academic Achievement Exam form (Gakuryoku kensa tō no sai hairyo wo yō suru sochi ni tsuite no negai) is submitted, this is considered as well. In some cases, school commute distance/school commute time is also considered in the third selection.

Rather than placing special emphasis on the Academic Achievement Exam, this system is in place to ensure that applicants can continue to be evaluated on their merits from a variety of angles.

The goal in having all applicants take the Academic Achievement Exam is to have applicants make the most of their classes in junior high school, work hard with their studies and to properly evaluate these efforts in the entrant selection process.

学力検査を重視するということではなく、これまでどおり志願者の良い面を様々な角度から評価できるようにしています。

志願者全員に学力検査を実施するのは、中学校での普段の授業を大切にして、しっかり勉強してもらい、その成果を入学者選抜できちんと評価できるようにするためです。

Q10-4：I heard that the selection standards would be released, but what information is this specifically?
「選抜基準を公表する」とのことですが、何を公表するのですか。

Specifically, this refers to how each school handles applicants' Academic Achievement Exam scores, school reports and the results of their practical skills exams and so forth. For example, the maximum number of points that each school awards to applicants based on the record of their special activities in their school report is made public.

The rules by which each school handles application materials are posted on the following page: "The Selection Standards for Each School for the 2023 School Year."

具体的には、各高等学校が学力検査、調査書、実技検査等の結果を選抜の際、どのように扱うかということです。例えば、調査書の特別活動等の記録を何点満点で評価するかなどについて、公表します。

The practical skills exam is conducted for fine-arts and physical education courses of study. For example, this includes the performance of vocal and instrumental music for the music course, and gymnastics/ball sports/martial arts for the physical education course. Q10-8：How is the point value of the "Record of Grades" on the school report assigned?
調査書の「学習の記録」はどのように点数化するのですか。

The total of the record of grades on the school report for the students' first, second and third years of junior high school multiplied by the ratio of the first, second and third years of junior high school set by each high school will be used as "the total of the Record of Grades."
For example, the Record of Grades has five levels per subject and nine subjects, for a total of forty-five points per grade in school.

Each high school sets the ratio of the student's grades in their first, second and third years in junior high school by evaluating the Record of Grades. Thus, in the case of a [1 to 1 to 1] ratio, the maximum possible score is 135, and in the case a [2 to 2 to 3] ratio, the maximum possible score is 315.

In addition to this, each school sets its own criteria for evaluating and assigning a point value to the Record of Special Activities and Other Evaluation Materials.

調査書の「各教科学習の記録の各学年別合計」に、各高等学校が定める中学校1年～3年の比率をかけて合計したものを「学習の記録の得点」としています。「学習の記録」は、9教科それぞれ5段階評価ですので、各学年45点満点です。高等学校では、学習の記録の扱いとして「1年、2年、3年」の比を定めます。したがって、例えば「1対1対1」の場合は135点、「2対2対3」の場合は315点が満点です。

このほかに「特別活動等の記録」や、その他の項目についても各高等学校で基準を定め、点数化して評価します。

What does this mean?
「各高等学校の選抜基準」を読むと、第3次選抜で、「第1次選抜における合計得点の一定の順位の者を対象に特別活動等の記録の得点で選抜する」としている高校がありますが、どのような意味ですか。

At the first phase of the third stage of selection, a school can select students by their rank in the first stage or the second stage of selection. If a school says it select students from "among those who achieved a certain rank based on total points at the first stage," it means that a school can use the total points from the first stage of selection in order to select students at the first phase of the third stage of selection. If a school says it selects students from "among those who achieved a certain rank based on total points in the second stage of selection," it means that a school uses the total points of the second stage of selection in order to select students at the first phase of the third stage of selection.

If there are no phrases like these listed in the school's selection standards, this means that the school will not preemptively select students at the first phase of the third stage of selection.

第3次選抜では、最初の段階で、選抜の対象を第1次選抜または第2次選抜における一定の順位までの者に絞ることができることとしています。選抜基準の第3次選抜の欄に「第1次選抜における合計得点の一定の順位の者を対象に」という表記がある場合は、第3次選抜の最初の段階で選抜対象者の絞り込みを、第1次選抜で使った得点で行うことを意味しています。また、「第2次選抜における合計得点の一定の順位の者を対象に」という表記があれば、第3次選抜の最初の段階における対象の絞り込みを、第2次選抜で使った得点で行うことを意味しています。

Q10-16: Some schools use the distance and time from home to school as selection criteria in the selection. Can this be disadvantageous for students who live in an area far from the school?

Until the 2010 school year, there was a special selection for those who were living near a school in order to encourage schools to be more involved in their local communities. In the 2023 school year selection, a school can use distance and time from school to home as a factor for selection at the third stage of selection by the decision of the principal in order to encourage school involvement in the local community.

If a school uses distance and time from school to home as selection material, the school must say so in the "Selection Standards for Each High School for the 2023 School Year."

12 Special Selection Process for Returnee Students（帰国生徒特別選抜）

The special selection process for returnees will be conducted for all full-time course of studies. The number of candidates to be selected is the number of 1st year students to be accepted divided by 40. This number is included in the total number of students to be accepted at the school. The number of students to be selected is listed on the “2023 School Year Admission Numbers Overview.” For further details, please consult the Prefectural School Management and Personnel Division at 048(830)6735.

Q12-2: What are the qualifications needed to apply for the special selection process for returnee students?
帰国生徒特別選抜の出願資格を教えてください。

A12-2:

Applicants need to meet the same application requirements as the general selection process and those who meet the following conditions for (1) or (2) can apply.

• (1) Applicants who have spent two to four years abroad before returning to Japan and who have spent less than two years in Japan after returning Japan.
• (2) Applicants who have spent more than four years abroad before returning to Japan and who have spent less than three years in Japan after returning.
  In this case, "less than two years in Japan after returning" generally means that  two years wouldn’t have passed from the day they returned as of February 1, 2022. Likewise, "less than three years in Japan after returning" generally means that they have not spent three years in Japan as of February 1, 2023.

出願資格は、一般募集の出願資格を満たしたうえ、次の(1)又は(2)の条件を満たす方です

• (1)日本国外における在住期間が、帰国時から遡り継続して、原則2年以上4年未満の方で、帰国後2年以内の方

Q12-3: How does the special selection for returnee students work?

The Academic Achievement Exam for returnee students consists of sections for Japanese, Math and English. The exam is the same exam as the general selections and is conducted in the same time schedule as general selection. There is no weighted scoring. In addition, an individual interview in Japanese will take place. There will be a Practical Skills Exam if a school/course requires it.

国語、数学及び英語の学力検査を実施します。学力検査は、一般募集と同一時刻に、同一問題で行います。学力検査の傾斜配点は実施しません。

Q12-4: What documents do I have to submit in order to apply for the special selection for returnee students?
帰国生徒特別選抜に出願するときに必要な書類を教えてください。

First, if you want to apply for the special selection, you write "○" in the space marked "special selection for returnee students" on the School Entrance Application Form. Next, you need to get your junior high school principal's seal at the appropriate place on the School Entrance Application Form to certify that you can apply to the special selection process for returnee students. In addition, you also have to submit a form to explaining the details of your stay abroad to the school that you want to apply for. This form will be filled out by your parent/ guardian.

This year, as a rule, applications will need to be submitted via post, so please include all necessary documents with your application.

入学願書の「特別選抜に関する申告欄」の「帰国生徒特別選抜による募集」欄に○印をつけてください。さらに、入学願書の「帰国生徒特別選抜による募集への応募資格証明」欄に中学校長により出願資格の証明を受けてください。その他、保護者の方に作成していただく「海外在住状況説明書」を提出していただきます。

When applying for the Special Selection for Returnee Students after graduating from an overseas junior high school, it is first necessary to confirm whether the applicant is eligible to apply to a public high school in Saitama prefecture. Please go to the High School Management and Personnel Division (048(830)6735) to apply for a Certification of Eligibility. For information on the procedures, please see Q7-1.

After receiving the Certification of Eligibility, the applicant's eligibility to take the Special Selection for Returnee Students needs to be verified. Verification procedures are conducted at the High School Education Management Division (048(830)6766).

The special selection will be, in principle, conducted in the general selection of all of high schools, full-time and part-time.

Only potential graduates who are certified by their junior high school principal to be appropriate for the special selection can apply to the selection. Those who have already graduated from junior high school are not eligible.

Those who want to apply to the special selection need to write a "○" in the application form box next to the statement of special selections and submit a written self-report with the application form.

This year, as a rule, applications will need to be submitted via post, so please include all necessary documents with your application.

In the special selection process, an individual interview will be held.

At the first selection stage, those who submit a self-report with their application form will be selected by different criteria. The applicant will be judged based on their total score of their Academic Achievement Exam, school reports excluding total score of grades and attendance rate, other materials for selection and their self-report.

原則として、一般募集において、全日制および定時制のすべての高等学校で実施します。

• 対象…卒業見込みの者（すでに中学校を卒業された方は対象となりません。）で、在学中学校長が、不登校の生徒などを対象とした特別な選抜による出願に該当すると認めた者。 
• 必要書類…入学願書の「特別選抜に関する申告欄」の「不登校の生徒などを対象とした特別な選抜」に○印をつけるとともに、自己申告書を、入学願書に添付してください。

令和5年度は、原則、郵送による出願としていますので、全ての書類を同封して提出ください。

• 面接…個人面接を実施します。
• 選抜…第1次選抜において、「自己申告書」を提出した者を対象に、調査書の学習の記録及び出欠の記録の得点を用いず、学力検査の得点の合計、調査書の学習の記録及び出欠の記録以外の得点、その他の資料の得点及び自己申告書の内容を資料とする特別な選抜を行います。

過年度卒ですが「不登校の生徒などを対象とした特別な選抜」に出願できますか。

The special selection process for students with long-term absences is only for those expected to graduate from junior high school. Those who have already graduate from junior high school are not eligible.

不登校の生徒などを対象にした特別な選抜では、「卒業見込みの者」を対象にしています。既に中学校を卒業された方は、この特別な選抜には出願できません。

A special admissions process for part-time (“teiji-sei”) courses of study, which is a special admissions process for persons aged 19 and older, is conducted. The materials considered in the selection process include the results of an essay and an interview etc.

定時制の課程において、「特別募集」を実施します。19歳以上の方が対象で、作文と面接の結果などを資料として選抜します。

Q15-2：What is the special admissions process for part-time (“teiji-sei”) courses of study?
「定時制の課程における特別募集」の概要を教えてください。

A15-2：

For every part-time course of study, the special admissions process is conducted along with the general admissions.
Applicants need the same application requirements as general admission and applicants must be nineteen years of age or older as of March 31, 2023.
A 4x3cm photo is to be attached to the school entrance application before submitting it.
In the Special admissions process for part-time courses of study, the Academic Achievement Exam is not conducted. Instead, individual interviews and an essay are administered.

すべての定時制課程において、一般募集にあわせて実施します。出願資格は、一般募集の出願資格を満たしたうえで、令和5年3月31日現在、19歳以上の方です。出願の際、受験票に写真（4×3センチ）を貼って提出します。
定時制の課程における特別募集では、学力検査は行わず、作文と個人面接を行います。

16 Simple Application Procedure for Disclosure of Academic Achievement Exam Scores（学力検査の得点の簡易開示）

Q16-1：I have heard that I can have my Academic Achievement Exam scores shown to me. How do I do this?

 学力検査の得点を見せてもらえると聞きました。どのようにすればよいですか。

A16-1：

Academic Achievement Exam Scores are obtainable via the simple application procedure for disclosure (kan'i kaiji). Please request your scores within the established period from the school where you took the exam.

You will need your Examination Admission ID Card and other documents proving your identity (identification such as your student ID handbook or your health insurance card, etc.).

学力検査の得点は、いわゆる「簡易開示」の対象です。定められた期間内に受検した高等学校に請求してください。

その際、受検票と本人であることを証明する書類（生徒手帳などの身分証明書または健康保険証等）が必要です。

県立高校における令和5年度入学者選抜学力検査の得点の「簡易開示」を請求できる期間は、令和5年3月15日（水曜日）から令和5年3月22日（水曜日）です。（ただし、土曜日、日曜日及び休日は除きます。）

Saitama Education Code prohibits the issuance of printed copies. However, the applicant may take notes.

As proof of identity is needed, we cannot give out scores over the phone. Please request your scores under the simple application procedure for disclosure from the school where you took the exam within the period for requests.
